DJFF the traveling film festival has selected two Bollywood flicks for their 2010 edition which flagged off on Saturday 29th May in Lucknow and is schedule to travel 13 cities before culminating in New Delhi in September 2010.

The desi cow boy flick ‘Ishqiya’ starring Vidya Balan, Naseer and Arshad and the Hindustani de noir ‘Manorama Six Feet Under’ helmed by Navdeep Singh starring Bobby Deol, Gul Panag and Raima Sen are being selected.

Both the films will be screened to the patrons of Bollywood around its tour.

The idea behind DJFF is to take a wide range of cinema right from Bollywood to the world for those who for some reason or the other can’t come to Metropolitan cities to watch such films.

Based on the concept of moving theatre the festival is also a unique experience for travelers who are also movie buffs.

‘Ishqiya’ is a western cow boy flick shot in desi isthyle by the assistant of Vishal Bhardwaj who made his debut with this film while ‘Manorama Six Feet Down Under’ is a Bollywood tribute to the not much familiar cinema de noir culture.
